Shop Finder is an innovative online platform designed to enhance the shopping experience for consumers by providing a comprehensive resource for discovering the best shops. This website utilizes a user-friendly interface that allows online shoppers to navigate through a vast array of shops, making informed decisions based on ratings and reviews from fellow consumers.

The platform maintains an extensive database of shops across various industries. From fashion and electronics to home goods and speciality stores, Shop Finder covers a wide range of categories to cater to diverse consumer needs.

Users can access valuable insights from other shoppers through ratings and reviews. Genuine feedback from customers who have previously interacted with a particular shop helps potential buyers make informed decisions.

My Role

I functioned as a freelance UX writer alongside other UX writers.

Challenge/Problem

The brand faced a significant challenge stemming from its website, which was inadequately constructed and failed to offer meaningful assistance to users. The previous version not only lacked user-friendly features but also suffered from the poorly crafted copy that did little to engage or inform visitors.

Product Goal/Solution

The solution involves revamping the website to present a more appealing and intuitive interface. The goal is to enable users to immediately grasp the brand's offerings and address their shopping concerns by providing clear and concise information.

Our goal was to clarify Shop Fiinder’s messaging and increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion rate.

Approach

• We conducted qualitative research using interviews to profile users based on their demographics, pain points, desires, and motivations. This process provided valuable insights into why and how people would engage with the platform we are developing. Check out our interview responses and interpretations. From these findings, we established our brand goals: to foster trust, enhance convenience, promote transparency, and ensure clear pricing.
• We developed a voice chart highlighting the product principles and other aspects of voice; concepts, vocabulary, verbosity, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.

• We created a user journey map to foster a user-centric mentality, create a shared vision for the brand, can uncover blind spots in the design process.
• We engaged in a collaborative brainstorming session to formulate a compelling content strategy. This strategy includes a well-defined mission statement, goals, and value proposition.
• We crafted clear, concise, and compelling copy that effectively communicates both the users’ goals and the business needs of Shop Finder.
